Overview

Famous for its historic rainbow houses and recognized as one of the Best Cities in the US each year, Charleston attracts people from around the world. Not only is it a destination for tourists looking to experience the unique culture and learn about the region’s rich history, Charleston is also an attraction for major businesses and innovators. The port city hosts global corporations including Boeing and the JEM Restaurant Group and is home to future-forward industries such as information technology and renewable energy. Along with the rustic architecture and relaxing beaches, these markets have helped attract an average of 28 new residents to the region each day.

Since 1991 when an established Charleston firm led by Neil C. Robinson Jr. merged with Maynard Nexsen, the firm has proudly cultivated valuable relationships and a significant presence in the low country. Over the years our award-winning attorneys have worked toward steady growth in Charleston, such as Ric Tapp, who is credited with playing a vital role in securing Boeing. Today, our Charleston office is home to more than 50 attorneys and staff led by Mary Shahid, named as a Charleston Lawyer of the Year for Environmental and Environmental Litigation.

If you find yourself strolling down King Street either on business or vacation, come on in. We would love to see you.
