Overview
Judge R. Markley Dennis, Jr. joins the firm following a long career in private practice, followed by decades of public service. Judge Dennis was an at-large judge of the South Carolina Circuit Courts. He joined the court in 1994 and was re-elected on February 4, 2015, to a term which expired in 2021. Prior to joining the court, Dennis worked in private practice with his family-run law firm.
Judge Dennis concentrates his practice on business and commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution. His experience is invaluable to our clients navigating complex matters. As a circuit judge, he served on the Law Related Education Committee for the South Carolina Bar and also on the Administrative Law Judge Judicial Council and the Circuit Court Judges Advisory Committee.
