Overview

Mollie is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Insurance and Financial Services Litigation Group and its Appellate and Post-Verdict Practice Group. Before joining the Firm, Mollie served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ed Carnes of the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and to the Honorable Stuart Kyle Duncan of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Her experience clerking provided Mollie with a nuanced understanding of appellate litigation and of the federal appeals courts throughout the southeast.

Mollie received her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she ranked first in her class. In law school, Mollie earned seven Best Paper awards while also serving as President of the Student Bar Association and Managing Editor of the Alabama Law Review. Mollie was a national quarterfinalist for the ABA National Moot Court Team, a member of the Order of the Barristers and Order of the Coif, and received the Dean M. Leigh Harrison and Hugo L. Black Scholar Awards. She holds a B.A., summa cum laude, in American Studies and Political Science from the University of Alabama.
