Ana Kyburg serves as the Firm's Conflicts Attorney. As a manager in Nexsen Pruet's Conflict Department, Ana is responsible for a team that identifies, analyzes and resolves potential conflicts of interest and works directly with the Firm's attorneys to clear conflicts. Ana analyzes conflicts reports, performs legal research, develops and maintains best practices to assist the Firm with compliance, and manages the team of Analysts to ensure searches are run promptly, correctly, and analyzed efficiently.
Prior to joining Nexsen Pruet, Ana worked as a Compliance Lawyer at a large, international law firm where she advised attorneys and their Global Compliance Team regarding the identification and resolution of potential conflicts. She also supervised a team of Compliance Analysts and contributed to setting up a specialized team and procedures to check conflicts of interests on laterals and portable business compatibility. Before working in conflicts, Ana served as an Associate Attorney at a boutique firm where she specialized in family immigration and was the lead attorney for Spanish-speaking clients. While in Argentina, Ana served in a variety of legal roles, including as a Paralegal and Associate Attorney, specializing in commercial law litigation - bankruptcy.
Ana earned her law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina and her LL.M from the University of Houston Law Center.

Outside Nexsen Pruet
Outside of Nexsen Pruet, you can find Ana spending time with her husband and Houston-based family and friends, as well as spoiling her Goldendoodle dog, Bailey. Occasionally, you can also find her traveling around the world to visit her family members and friends in Europe or Argentina, where she is originally from.
