Sasha Rao Named California Women Leader in Tech Law
Sasha Rao, Shareholder and Intellectual Property practice group leader, was named a winner of the 2023 California Legal Awards Women Leaders of Tech Law by The Recorder.
The Women Leaders in Tech focuses on recognizing the top women attorneys in California whose recent achievements have contributed to progress at technology companies and in the law. The Recorder says that the Women Leaders in Tech Law "help forge pathways for all women attorneys in the tech industry."
Based in the firm's San Francisco office, Sasha is widely recognized as one of Silicon Valley's leading intellectual property lawyers with an established record of success for some of the world's top companies. As the chair of the firm's national Intellectual Property practice, Sasha regularly leads intellectual property and commercial litigation for her clients, including cases involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, unfair competition, and complex commercial disputes.
Sasha has been honored with the Women Leaders of Tech Law award five times and has been recognized by Chambers USA as a Leading Individual in Intellectual Property: Patent Litigation since 2020. She was also named by the Daily Journal in 2023 as one of California's Top Intellectual Property Lawyers (having previously received this recognition five times). Additionally, Sasha was featured in Law.com as a Woman of Legal Tech in July 2023.
