Bill Pully is Senior Counsel with Nexsen Pruet's Health Care Group. His practice focuses on helping health care organizations adjust to the rapid changes occurring in the field. Previously the President of the N.C. Hospital Association, he worked with the NCHA as General Counsel, Chief Lobbyist and President throughout his tenure. In these roles, he was responsible for advocacy and representation for all hospital and health care-related issues before the North Carolina General Assembly and state agencies.

In addition to his more than 30 years of experience with the Hospital Association, Bill is familiar with politics and public policy in the Tarheel state. Bill ran Tim Valentine’s successful bid for the U.S. House of Representatives in 1982, and served as Valentine’s executive assistant in Congress. He also ran Lauch Faircloth’s gubernatorial candidacy in the primary in 1984.

He resides in the Triangle with his wife Dale, and has three sons: Will, Alex and Robert.
