Weiwei Sun is Of Counsel in the Columbia office, where she works with the International, Immigration, and Economic Development groups. She has experience practicing law in both the United States and China, and her background includes a broad range of matters related to international business, corporate, and immigration law.
Prior to joining Nexsen Pruet, Weiwei practiced Law and is still active in China. Upon moving to the United States, Weiwei worked on international business and immigration matters in Atlanta and in the State of New York. She spent eight years at The Sunny Law Firm, PLLC, where she represented companies and individual clients in business law and Chinese law matters. During this time, she also worked as an in-house Counsel to a Dallas based real estate company, providing legal advice on employment-based fifth preference category visa, or EB-5 projects, and Chinese law. Weiwei also formerly worked as the Vice President of China Operations and an EB-5 Consultant for EB-5 New York State, LLC.
Weiwei has a particular focus on assisting Chinese businesses in the U.S. market, and U.S. businesses in the Chinese market.
Ms. Sun is licensed to practice law in New York and China only.
