The Appalachian Trail

"I've hiked in Western North Carolina for years with my three boys- they all like the outdoors. For six years now, my boys and I and several of our friends hike around seventy miles of the Appalachian Trail. We spend a week hiking and camping, and we carry everything we need on our backs. We find and purify our water, and prepare or find our food. Unplugging from the usual routine helps to re-charge the batteries.
