Prior to joining Nexsen Pruet, Ryan worked for a boutique intellectual property firm, gaining extensive experience with patent applications primarily in the chemical, biochemical, biological, machine learning and software fields. With a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Ryan's research and industry experience focused on the study of organic catalysts for generating carbon-carbon bonds from aldehydes as well as the development and optimization of analytical methods using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), mass spectrometry (MS), and tandem mass spec (MSMS).
