Richard Wilson is a trial lawyer whose principal areas of practice are commercial litigation including foreclosures and receiverships, construction law and litigation, bankruptcy law, creditors' rights law, and real property litigation.

He is a North Carolina Superior Court Certified Mediator and focuses on construction and commercial disputes as well as condemnations.

He received both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Wilson is active in his church and state and local bar associations.

We call him Richard.  He's also known as "Grandad."  He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and spoiling them rotten, only to return them home.  It's his privilege after all, raising two wonderful children himself.  When he's not with the kids, you can find Richard on one of the many golf courses around Charlotte.
