Christy Rogers is a Special Counsel based in Nexsen Pruet's Columbia, South Carolina office where she focuses her practice on employment and labor law matters.
Before joining the firm, Christy served as Senior Corporate Counsel for Michelin North America, where she handled employment, benefits and data and privacy matters. She also had a private employment and labor practice with a national Am Law 200 firm for several years, as well as experience as a law clerk when working for the The Honorable Joseph F. Anderson, Jr.
Prior to receiving her law degree, Christy was a litigation paralegal for eight years, working on a variety of cases in both state and federal court.
During her time at the University South Carolina School of Law, Christy was on the Mock Trial Bar, including as the Chief Justice and was also a member of the John Belton O'Neall Inn of Court. She was also a bronze recipient of the Compleat Lawyer Award and of the CALI Awards for Civil Litigation and Writing in Law Practice.
