Carrie Palmer, a champion of business risk management efforts with more than 25 years of experience, leads NP General Counsel 360 – a solution designed to provide businesses with a legal team staffed by Nexsen Pruet professionals, customized and budgeted specifically based on the needs of the business.
Before joining Nexsen Pruet, Carrie co-founded Oklahoma-based Resolution Legal Group, where she helped bring GC2, an innovative, outsourced legal department concept, to the market. While with Resolution Legal, she developed general counsel strategies for a wide range of clients confronting unique challenges – including start-ups and small businesses, resource-constrained non-profits, and large companies requiring multi-level outsource programs or ongoing supplemental legal services for specialty areas.
Carrie also serves as counsel and consultant in the areas of General and Strategic Planning for Business; Transportation (Broker, Carrier and Vendor); and Regulatory Compliance including DOT/FMCSA and Cyber related regimes. She is specially trained in the management and early evaluation of catastrophic events in the Transportation industry. Carrie has served as outside litigation defense counsel as well as General Counsel for companies in the transportation, technology, manufacturing and franchise arenas. She consults with and trains C-Suite execs, Safety Depts., and specialized groups on risk assessment, avoidance and management; litigation preparedness; litigation/claims management; telematics implementation, training, policies, and procedures; and all manner of data protection and related policy/procedure. Carrie is a frequent speaker on topics concerning Transportation, the intersection of Technology, Law and Business, Employee privacy and technology, and considerations surrounding use of Real-Time Data.
