Overview

Brian Lewis is based in Nexsen Pruet’s Raleigh office, where he concentrates his practice on trademark, copyright, software licensing, intellectual property transactions; and corporate law. Brian assists clients with general intellectual property and transactional matters.

Brian helps his U.S. and international business clients protect their names, brands, logos, artistic works, and other forms of intellectual property. He also assists clients with forming business entities, mergers and acquisitions, asset protection, contract analysis, developing corporate strategies, and tax considerations for various business structures.

Brian also regularly evaluates complex property tax matters in preparation for filing appeals with the North Carolina Property Tax Commission. Brian’s evaluations focus on commercial real estate, including manufacturing facilities, high-rise apartment complexes, enclosed malls, and strip centers.

When I am outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. I love sports and am a passionate fan of the University of North Carolina Tar Heels and the Carolina Panthers. I also enjoy watching a good movie and eating good food.
