Brian Lewis is based in Nexsen Pruet’s Raleigh office, where he concentrates his practice on Intellectual Property. Brian assists clients with general intellectual property matters and forming business entities.

Brian also regularly evaluates complex property tax matters in preparation for filing appeals with the North Carolina Property Tax Commission. Brian’s evaluations focus on commercial real estate, including manufacturing facilities, high-rise apartment complexes, enclosed malls, and strip centers.

Before joining Nexsen Pruet, Brian was in private practice in Charlotte, North Carolina, concentrating on civil litigation matters. He worked in all phases of litigation including conducting discovery, drafting and responding to pleadings, motions, and memoranda, as well as gaining valuable trial experience.

When I am outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. I love sports and am a passionate fan of the University of North Carolina Tar Heels and the Carolina Panthers. I also enjoy watching a good movie and eating good food.
