Ashley Parr is an employment and labor law attorney in Nexsen Pruet’s Greenville office. In her practice, she counsels businesses and organizations on issues ranging from policy implementation to claims of discrimination.
Ashley’s areas of focus include:
- Development and implementation of employment policies and employee handbooks
- Enforcement of restrictive covenants, such as covenants not to compete, non-solicitation agreements, and confidentiality agreements
- Employment discrimination pursuant to Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, and disputes pursuant to the FMLA
- Claims such as breach of contract, wrongful termination, unlawful disclosure of trade secrets, and workers’ compensation retaliation
- Wage claims pursuant to the FLSA and the SC Payment of Wages Act
- Advising federal contractors on their legal compliance responsibilities
In addition to her experience in employment and labor matters, Ashley also supports clients with their business litigation needs.
Before joining Nexsen Pruet, Ashley clerked for the Honorable Jean Toal, Chief Justice of the South Carolina Supreme Court in Columbia, South Carolina. She also interned for the Honorable Joseph Anderson, United States District Court Judge in Columbia.
