Nick Pappayliou is an Associate with the bankruptcy and financial services practice group in our Charlotte, North Carolina office. Nick practices in the areas of commercial finance, real estate finance, commercial transactions, corporate law, and Nexsen Pruet’s USDA Lending practice.

Nick joined the firm after serving as a Summer Associate, during which he gained experience in corporate, transactional, and commercial law matters. Nick also worked as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Michael L. Robinson of the North Carolina Business Court, where he conducted research for specially designated complex business cases, drafted court orders and legal memoranda, and participated in case management hearings. Prior to his experience with the North Carolina Business Court, Nick was an analytics intern for an international software company.

Nick earned his B.A. in Political Science from Davidson College and his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law. During law school, he served as an Executive Editor of the Wake Forest Law Review, worked as a Legal Analysis Writing and Research (LAWR) Teaching Assistant, was a member of the Honor Council Executive Board, and received the Dean Suzanne Reynolds Award for Academic Excellence in Health Care Law & Policy

When Nick isn't in the office, you can find him volunteering as a wrestling coach.
