Keely Fresh is an Associate in Nexsen Pruet’s Greenville office, where she focuses her practice on employment and labor law. Keely helps her clients navigate complex aspects of the employment relationship by assisting in litigation matters and counseling.

As a Summer Associate at Nexsen Pruet, Keely gained experience in multiple practice groups by conducting research, preparing legal memorandums, and working with clients. She later furthered her experience by working with the office of the General Counsel at an Upstate S.C. manufacturing company.

While a student at Washington and Lee University School of Law, Keely served as an editor for the Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice, in which her student note Blood, Sweat, Tears: A Re-Examination of the Exploitation of College Athletes was published and awarded the Louise A. Halper Award for best student note.

Keely earned her B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications with a minor in Law and Society, summa cum laude, from St. Bonaventure University, where she was a member of the Division I Women’s Basketball team. During her time there, Keely acted as President for the University’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), worked as a journalist for a local online news publication, and interned in the NCAA Division I Compliance Office.

When away from the office, Keely enjoys traveling, fishing, and mastering new recipes.
