Overview
Clay Turner is an Associate with the firm's business and commercial litigation practice group, where he regularly conducts research and assists clients with both litigation and employment matters. Prior to joining the firm, Clay gained experience as a File Clerk for an international employment law firm, reviewing and digitizing labor law documents for the firm's database. Clay also served as a Legal Intern for Greenville Health System, where he was responsible for research and account management including preparation for the changing of the hospital organization from a public to private non-profit entity.
Clay earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law where he was the Director of the Student Bar Association. While earning his B.A. in Political Science from Clemson University, Clay served as an Intern for The Office of Senator Lindsay Graham and as an Athletic Manager for Clemson University's Athletic Department.
Outside Nexsen Pruet
When Clay isn't in the office, you can find him enjoying a wide variety of outdoor activities including golf, hunting, fishing, and backpacking.
