Roundtable on Hillary Clinton's Nomination

C-SPAN Washington Journal

July 28, 2016

Nexsen Pruet member (partner) Marguerite Willis joined fellow Democratic Convention Delegate Johnnie Roebuck and host Peter Slen for an extended interview on CSPAN's Washington Journal.

The roundtable examined "Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s career and accomplishments and the historical significance of her nomination to be the first woman to head a major political party’s ticket." Willis explained how she tries to lead the way for others:

“I like to say that if somebody took a machete to the jungle, I paved the roads behind of it. I want to pave the roads for the women in my law firm and I want to pave the roads for my nieces and all the girls of America.”
