Trademark Specialist Joins Nexsen Pruet in Raleigh

Law firm welcomes Sarah Nagae & Triangle Trademarks®

August 24, 2016

Sarah Nagae, a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in Trademark Law, has joined Nexsen Pruet’s Raleigh office where she will work as Special Counsel with the law firm’s Intellectual Property group.

Before joining Nexsen Pruet, she operated Triangle Trademarks®, a single-attorney trademark and copyright law practice.

“For decades, our firm’s model has focused on hiring skilled attorneys with strong principles,” said Tim St.Clair, chair of the firm’s IP group. “Sarah will fit right in with us and her clients will benefit from the resources of a full-service business firm.”

In 2015, members of the North Carolina Bar voted Nagae into the Business North Carolina magazine “Legal Elite Hall of Fame” in the field of Intellectual Property. She received the most votes among all the IP lawyers and was the youngest attorney to win in any category. She also received the North Carolina Bar Association’s Outstanding Achievement Pro Bono Award for the IP Section in 2014-15.

Nagae earned her J.D. as well as two Masters Degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Bachelors in Human Biology from Stanford University.
