The Guilford Education Alliance awarded Nexsen Pruet one of five Spark Awards in March 2018. The Spark Awards recognize community initiatives created from the spark of an idea - and made into a reality in support of Guilford County students and schools. The firm received the award for it's efforts to support the GEA's Teacher Supply Warehouse to supply teachers and students for the school year ahead.
2017 was the inaugural supply drive in support of the Teacher Supply Warehouse with a goal to fill a school bus with supplies. After weeks of collecting items, Nexsen Pruet and partners collected more than 15,500 supplies in what ended up being the largest corporate sponsored supply drive in GEA's history. The bus was filled to the brim and overflowing!
The 2nd Annual Teacher Supply Drive
kicks off May 1.
Help NP exceed our goal this year, and support even more community teachers and students.
Contact the Greensboro Office by phone at 336.373.1600 or by email and the firm will drop off a box before May 1, and pick up the box at the conclusion of the drive.
As the GEA says, "Education is everyone's business - let's work together to make sure every Guilford County School teacher and student has what they need to ignite learning. Let's spark possibility together!"
