Brett Becker Joins Greensboro Office

Attorney Brett Becker has joined Nexsen Pruet’s Greensboro office, where he will work as an associate supporting the law firm’s construction practice. Nexsen Pruet was ranked in the top-tier of firms nationwide for Litigation-Construction by Best Lawyers 2017.
Becker focused his previous practice in products liability & mass torts, specializing in pharmaceutical and medical device litigation. This experience includes both federal and state litigation. His practice has also included matters in construction, bankruptcy, protection of trade secrets, governmental legislation and trade disputes.
“Brett comes to the firm during a period of growth in the Greensboro Office and continuous growth in our Construction services," said Harper Heckman, chair of the firm's construction group. "He will be an incredible asset to the firm, to support our clients with litigation and construction needs."
Becker earned his undergraduate degree in political science from Clemson University, summa cum laude. He graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law, cum laude, in 2014. During law school, he worked with RJ Reynolds and the Forsyth District Attorney through litigation clinics at Wake Forest. Upon graduation, he practiced with a New Jersey based firm before returning to the Carolinas.
