Five Nexsen Pruet Attorneys Named to Greenville’s “Legal Elite”

Greenville Business Magazine

August 5, 2013

Nexsen Pruet is pleased to announce that attorneys Ron Cardwell, Phil Conner, Tom Stephenson, Joel Stoudenmire and William W. "Billy" Wilkins have been named to Greenville Business Magazine’s “Legal Elite” for 2013.  Cardwell and Conner are recognized in the Environmental Law category, Stephenson in Labor and Employment Law, Stoudenmire in Tax and Wilkins in Government Affairs and Criminal Law.

Greenville Business Magazine named the 2013 Upstate lawyers on August 1 and the magazine will honor them at a reception on August 22 at High Cotton in Greenville.

In the survey, the magazine sent emails to Greenville-area lawyers and asked them who, in their opinions, were the best lawyers in 20 practice areas. Respondents could nominate lawyers in their firms, but for each in-firm lawyer there had to be an out-of-firm lawyer nominated, although not necessarily in the same practice area.

Nexsen Pruet, LLC is one of the largest law firms in the Carolinas, with more than 185 attorneys and offices in Columbia, Charleston, Greenville, Hilton Head, and Myrtle Beach, S.C. as well as Charlotte, Greensboro, and Raleigh, N.C.  Founded in 1945, Nexsen Pruet provides a broad range of legal services to the business community and represents companies and other entities in local, state, national, and international venues.  For further information, see
