Joe Dickinson joins the firm’s Raleigh office

Nexsen Pruet is pleased to announce that attorney Joe Dickinson has joined the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group. Dickinson is a seasoned data use, privacy, and cybersecurity lawyer with over 30 years of experience representing corporations and senior leadership.

Dickinson joins Nexsen Pruet in the firm’s Raleigh office from Michael Best & Friedrich, LLP, where he was a partner working in the data security and cybersecurity practice. His extensive resume includes work in the private sector and serving as general counsel advising technology, healthcare companies and government entities.

Dickinson graduated from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He is certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC®) and is a recognized thought leader on data privacy, cybersecurity, and healthcare topics. He has presented at some of the nation’s most prestigious technology and healthcare conferences. Joe is also an active member of several key technology, legal, and healthcare-based industry associations.
