Jones DuBose and Keith Burns assume new leadership roles with Nexsen Pruet

Managing Member of Operations

Nexsen Pruet, one of the Carolinas' largest law firms, is pleased to announce Jones DuBose has been named Managing Member of Operations. 

Appointed by the firm's Board of Directors, Jones will be responsible for the oversight of the finance, human resources, information technology, occupancy and budgeting functions of the firm.

Jones is a member of the firm's Corporate practice team. His legal practice is focused on the areas of business formations, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and general corporate law. Jones has experience handling a wide spectrum of business issues that cover multiple industries, including structuring and implementing mergers, acquisitions, dissolutions, recapitalizations, divestitures, and reorganizations; structuring private securities offerings and compliance with state and federal securities laws; negotiating, structuring, and documenting complex corporate and LLC governance structures; commercial contract preparation and review; and documenting other highly complex business transactions.

Nexsen Pruet is also pleased to announce Keith Burns has been named Office Managing Partner of the firm's Raleigh, North Carolina location. 

Office Managing Partners are appointed by the firm's Board of Directors based on an attorney's management skills, community involvement, firm involvement and general ability to create a positive work environment in each office.

Keith is a real estate, financial services and economic development attorney based in the Raleigh-Durham area. He is particularly experienced in delivering counsel on original loans, refinances, and restructuring; the formation of LLCs, corporations, and partnerships; and real estate purchases, leases, supplier and customer contracts, acquisitions, and dissolutions. Keith currently serves as the Chairman of the Research Triangle Regional Partnership.
