15th Annual CLE Ethics Seminar
November 10, 2016
I hope all the attendees for Nexsen Pruet’s 15th Annual CLE Ethics Seminar enjoyed the time we shared together in Columbia. It was certainly an exceptional time for me, as it was the first opportunity for me to introduce my father, Dan Reeves.
When the firm secured my dad as the Key Note speaker for the day, I was excited for him to meet my new colleagues at Nexsen Pruet. But when I was asked to introduce him and later give a presentation, the event became a bit more personal.
I’ve never been one to seek out opportunities for public speaking, but I did jump at the chance to publicly recognize and thank my dad for the incredible blessing he is to me. Hearing him share his message of learning through life’s challenges, I hope those attending now understand why I am proud to say he is my father, my role model, and my hero.
A sincere thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s event a special one for me and my father!
