Coming Soon: Nexsen Pruet virtual briefing on OSHA’s emergency standard on COVID-19 vaccine or testing requirement

OSHA is actively developing an emergency temporary standard (ETS) that will require all employers with 100 or more employees to ensure their workforce is fully vaccinated or require any workers who remain unvaccinated to produce a negative test result on at least a weekly basis before coming to work.  The ETS may be announced during October 2021. Once OSHA announces the ETS, Nexsen Pruet will host webinars as a virtual version of its longstanding QBB series.

Watch for further information about the dates and times of our webinars, which will cover important issues, including:

  • Which employers are covered by the ETS
  • Will employers have to pay for weekly testing of unvaccinated workers
  • What documentation will be required to verify vaccination and testing status
  • How will the standard be enforced by OSHA
  • Anticipated response by the Carolinas and other state plan states
  • Ways to evaluate exemption requests from employees
  • How to plan for potential protests in the workplace
