Common sense, international perspective
Mackrell International is a law firm network formed to respond real-time to client needs wherever they may occur. Nexsen Pruet is a long-standing and active Mackrell member, and as such, has relationships with well-respected lawyers and law firms world-wide. Mackrell International has 90 member firms representing 4,500 lawyers in 60 countries. Mackrell has a particularly strong presence in North America, Europe and Africa, and is swiftly growing membership in the South America and the Asia Pacific region.
Founded in 1987, Mackrell International took its name from John Mackrell, a London lawyer who started a practice in Lincoln’s Inn in 1845. He was renowned for his common sense commercial approach to legal matters and founded a scholarship for practical legal excellence.
This common sense attitude, combined with excellent personal relationships, is the foundation of the network. Client satisfaction is vital, and as the network integrates new firms, they ensure that those firm's behavior and ethics fit in with established working methods and quality expectations.
Nexsen Pruet has found that we can better represent our clients in transactions and disputes around the world with the assistance of law firms we know through Mackrell.
