Receptionist/Legal Practice Assistant - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Nexsen Pruet (Myrtle Beach location) is seeking a full-time Receptionist/Legal Practice Assistant with a minimum of 5 years’ litigation experience. Candidate must be able to multi-task, display initiative and produce an excellent work product.

- Experienced in billing
- Proficient in CM/ECF-filing
- Must be proficient using Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Adobe; PowerPoint a plus
- Good follow-up skills
- Able to handle a fast-paced environment with extensive multi-tasking
- Passion for accuracy and attention to detail
Duties Include:
- Welcomes visitors by greeting them in a pleasant and professional manner, answering and referring questions
- Greets and directs callers by answering telephone calls; determines nature of business and directs callers to appropriate destination
- Maintains an efficient, safe and clean reception area by complying with established policies and procedures
- Completes special assignments such as ordering food for meetings, etc.
- Reserves conference rooms including arranging for set-ups
- Performs variety of clerical duties, as needed
- Assists visiting attorneys and staff from other offices
- Contact with various vendors regarding day-to-day upkeep and maintenance issues in the Myrtle Beach office
- Preparing legal documents and correspondence
- Court filings
- Coordinating meetings
- Digital transcription
- Running conflicts
- Opening and maintaining client files, including filing
- Processing client bills and expense reimbursements
- Travel logistics
- Coordinating meetings
- Interacting with clients
- Other duties as needed
