Overview

Michael Scott concentrates his practice in the area of employment and labor law. 

He joined Nexsen Pruet after working as a Staff Attorney for the South Carolina Court of Appeals.

Mike also worked as a Special Agent with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, assisting with investigations into multi-national drug trafficking organizations. 

Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati, and a law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.  As a law student, he was a member of the Order of the Wig and Robe and earned a CALI Award for Excellence in Natural Resource Law.
