Michael Brearley is an Associate with Nexsen Pruet's real estate and economic development groups. His practice focuses on commercial and transactional law, including economic incentives and commercial real estate. As a native of Greenville, Michael is passionate about finding the right fit for businesses growing and moving to the area.

Michael strives to incorporate the latest technology into his practice to maximize efficiency for clients. During his time at Vanderbilt University Law School, he co-founded the Vanderbilt Legal Technology Society and was an active participant with Vanderbilt's Program on Law and Innovation. His interest in the effect of new technology on the delivery of legal services continues today.

Michael was a John D. Hollingsworth scholar at Furman, where he graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science before earning his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School.
