"Top Government Affairs Firms and Lobbyists"

Southern Political Report

September 24, 2015

The Summer 2015 issue of The Southern Political Report featured its rankings of "Top Government Affairs Firms and Lobbyists."

Nexsen Pruet's Public Policy and Governmental Affairs team landed in first place for South Carolina.  To introduce the rankings, the magazine included a note from publisher Phil Kent. An excerpt:

Rating top governmental affairs firms and lobbyists in order of distinction is a thorny enterprise. But The Southern Political Report believes it is a service to our readers to attempt to rank the top government affairs firms and lobbyists who labor diligently in the legislative vineyards. After all, these men and women shape public policy all over the South.

More from the Southern Political Report.

Our Public Policy and Governmental Affairs team has deep roots in the community and a long history of involvement in public affairs in the Carolinas. The team is headed by two former elected officials: Bob Coble, mayor of Columbia, S.C., from 1990 to 2010, and Alexander “Sandy” Sands, a four-term N.C. State senator. Several other attorneys have also served in prominent government positions, and the practice is informed by Nexsen Pruet’s . Our staff includes registered, experienced lobbyists.
