Ashley Robertson Parr Joins Greenville Office
February 10, 2016
Ashley Robertson Parr has joined Nexsen Pruet’s Greenville office as an associate with the Employment and Labor Law group.
Parr’s legal experience includes a variety of areas such as workers' compensation, litigation, medical malpractice and insurance defense.
“Greenville’s economic growth and vibrant community makes it an important market for our firm,” said David Dubberly, Chair of the Employment Law Group. “Locating Ashley in the South Carolina Upstate is strategic, but her work will certainly not be limited by geography.”
Before joining Nexsen Pruet, Parr clerked for the Honorable Jean Toal, Chief Justice of the South Carolina Supreme Court in Columbia, SC. Prior to that, she interned for the Honorable Joseph Anderson, United States District Court Judge in Columbia.
Parr is deeply involved in the legal and civic community. She has previously served on the Attorney Wellness Committee of the South Carolina Bar, Healthy and Happy Kids Committee of the Junior League of Columbia, and is a member of the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association (SCWLA).
Parr earned her undergraduate degree and her law degree, both magna cum laude, from the University of South Carolina. While attending law school, she served as a legal research and writing teaching assistant where she consulted with and provided feedback to first year law students. She served as Articles Editor for the South Carolina Law Review and was a teaching assistant for a litigation course.
