Kenn Kopf Joins Nexsen Pruet; Expands Charleston Office

Nexsen Pruet is pleased to announce that Kenn Kopf has joined the firm as Special Counsel. He will be based in the firm’s Charleston office and practice in the Corporate Group.

Kopf has 30 years of experience in a wide variety of areas, including 6 years with the U.S. Government (Air Force JAG, US Navy and Veterans’ Administration) and 24 years as a corporate general counsel.

His areas of practice include:

  • Federal & State Government Procurement law, including Import/Export and IP matters
  • Dispute Resolution & Litigation (U.S./Int’l)
  • U.S & Int’l Commercial Contract Law (JVs, Licensing, Consultant, etc)
  • Corporate Governance & Ethical Compliance
  • Investigations
  • Entertainment Law

Kopf received his B.A in political science, education and Russian language studies, graduating with honors. He received his M.A. in counseling psychology and completed course-work for his Ph.d. in clinical psychology. He was a licensed psychologist and previously served as a Russian linguist for the U.S. Government intelligence community.
