Andrea Easler Receives 2007-2008 Zonta Women of Achievement Award

Zonta Club of Hilton Head Island is proud to announce Andrea Easler as the recipient of the 2007-2008 Women of Achievement award.

The Zonta Women of Achievement award is an internal award given to recognize one of Zonta Club of Hilton Head Island members for outstanding service to their club and its projects, as well as service to our community.

Andrea Easler is an associate with Nexsen Pruet and earned her undergraduate degree, cum laude, in Journalism from the University of South Carolina and her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Her involvement with Zonta included serving on the Board of Directors, chairing the Service Committee and involvement with many programs like LEAP. Andrea was instrumental in organizing the Safe Birthing Kits project for Rural Women in Honduras. In addition Andrea is a member of the following civic and professional originations; The Volunteers in Medicine Clinic Board of Trustees, Representative for Young Lawyers Division, 14th Circuit, Chair of the Beaufort County Cinderella Project and Hilton Head Humane Association Board.  Thank you Andrea for being such an instrumental Zontian.

The Zonta Club of Hilton Head was chartered almost 29 years ago.  Founded in 1919, Zonta International is a global organization of executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy. Zonta members volunteer their time, talents and money to local and international service projects, as well as scholarship and award programs aimed at furthering women's education, leadership and youth development. Nearly 33,000 members belong to more than 1,200 Zonta Clubs in 66 countries. The Zonta Club of Hilton Head Island meets for lunch on the first Thursday of each month at noon.
