Heather Johnson Joins Nexsen Pruet's Real Estate Group

CHARLOTTE, NC – Heather N. Johnson has joined the Charlotte office of Nexsen Pruet Adams Kleemeier, PLLC, and will work as an associate in the Real Estate Group and Banking & Financing Group.

Johnson will concentrate her practice in the areas of commercial real estate and commercial real estate litigation. She will advise clients on matters related to real estate law including: commercial transactions, lending, contract law, and business formation.

“Heather has the skill set that our real estate clients need,” said Leighton Lord, board chairman of Nexsen Pruet. “Her background, however, goes beyond real estate, and includes related areas such as contracts and new business startups.”

Johnson’s specific areas of representation will include protecting creditors’ rights in real and personal property matters; handling commercial litigation cases, focusing primarily on contract enforcement and related obligations; and assisting new businesses with entity selection, formation, and incorporation.

Johnson earned her undergraduate degree from Ohio University and her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar, and the Young Lawyers Division of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association.
