The International Federation of Intellectual Property (FICPI) held its tri-annual Congress in Washington DC in June. During the meeting, the organization determined its leadership for next three years.

The International Federation of Intellectual Property provides guidance and expert counsel to patent and trademark offices throughout the world. It takes positions on important litigation matters, and, for example, provides Amicus briefing on every significant intellectual property case heard by the U.S. Supreme Court. In his role as U.S. FICPI President, Mr. Hardaway will be responsible for leading these efforts in the United States and coordinating with FICPI leadership worldwide.
