Breakfast Briefing to Help Employers With Workplace Privacy January 5, 2005
COLUMBIA, SC - The employment and labor attorneys of Nexsen Pruet, LLC will present free breakfast briefings to employers in North and South Carolina to help them better understand workplace privacy.
"E-mail, drug testing, video surveillance -- these are often troubling privacy areas for employers," said William Floyd, a Nexsen Pruet employment group member. "We will explain where the boundaries of personal privacy end and the business needs of an employer begin."
More than ten members of Nexsen Pruet's employment group are assisting with this important update. They will address legal issues for employers about balancing personal privacy with business needs, including:
Monitoring workplace e-mail and Internet usage
