"The Riley Institute at Furman announces Midlands Diversity Leaders Initiative Class III Graduates"

Nexsen Pruet congratulates member (partner) Tushar Chikhliker on his completion of the Midlands Diversity Leaders Initiative.  The DLI program is administered by The Riley Institute at Furman University.

As part of the Initiative, Chikhliker worked with other participants to introduce Harvest Hope Food Bank's Backpack Program to a Sumter County elementary school. The program provides backpacks stocked with nutritious, child-friendly and easy-to-prepare food to at-risk children to take home over the weekends.

Chikhliker’s law practice is focused primarily in the areas of economic development and public finance. Additionally, he chair’s the firm’s Diversity Committee which works to recruit minority candidates, reduce minority attrition, and support minority organizations.
