Government regulations mandate that companies retain certain documents for subsequent compliance and audits.  Following Enron and Sarbanes-Oxley, document destruction policies are now under extreme scrutiny.  These regulations, which impact companies’ employment, HIPPA and governance practices, have introduced significant changes to corporate management processes and procedures for document management and other burdensome retention. Companies are required to enforce major changes to bring their organizations into compliance.  Private companies, non-public organizations and public companies are affected.
