Four Nexsen Pruet Paralegals Leading State Association January 6, 2003
Columbia, SC -Four Paralegals on the Nexsen Pruet Jacobs & Pollard, LLC legal team have been tapped to help lead The Palmetto Paralegal Association (PPA).
Dale Wannamaker will serve as Treasurer of PPA for 2003. Ms. Wannamaker has been a member of the Association since its inception in 1988. She previously served as First Vice President, Education Chair and as a member of the Education and Employment Information Committees for approximately 6 years. Ms. Wannamaker is a Paralegal on Nexsen Pruet's Litigation Team.
VickiLynn Mitchell is the First Vice President and Education Chairperson for 2003. Ms. Mitchell is a former PPA President. At Nexsen Pruet, she is a Paralegal on the firm's Litigation Team.
For the second year in a row, Summer Slaughter will serve as Second Vice President/Membership Committee Chair. Ms. Slaughter is Nexsen Pruet's Recruiting Coordinator and a Paralegal on the firm's Health Care Team
Patricia Simmons will serve on the board, and Chair Community Relations for PPA. Ms. Simmons is a Paralegal on the Nexsen Pruet's Litigation Team
Formed in 1988, The Palmetto Paralegal Association is a member of the National Federation of Paralegal Associations and the South Carolina Alliance of Legal Assistant Associations. There are 180 members.
Ms. Mitchell will be responsible for obtaining speakers for PPA's monthly meetings. The speaker must address a legal topic and CLE credit is awarded to the members attending the meeting.
