Prince appointed to the Palmetto Richland Children's Hospital Board of Directors

Nexsen Pruet Jacobs & Pollard, LLP is pleased to announce that William A. Prince has been appointed to the Palmetto Richland Children's Hospital Board of Directors. Bill Prince is Special Counsel in our Columbia office and manages the firm's governmental practice. He practices primarily in government relations and regulatory representation for clients before state agencies and the General Assembly and health care law with concentration in Medicaid reimbursement and health regulations. Mr. Prince was most recently Vice President of Government Relations and General Counsel with the South Carolina Hospital Association. He also served as Senior Policy Advisor to former Governor Dick Riley from 1978 to 1986. He is a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Virginia and the University of South Carolina School of Law. Mr. Prince is a member of the American Bar Association, South Carolina Bar Health Law Committee, and the American Health Lawyers Association. He also serves as adjunct professor at the USC School of Public Health.

Mr. Prince joins Jeanne Born, also of Nexsen Pruet Jacobs & Pollard, LLP, as a member of the Palmetto Richland Children's Hospital Board of Directors. Ms. Born is a member of the firm's healthcare law team. She is a Registered Nurse with experience in general medical/surgical nursing, medical/surgical neurology, and nursing management. Ms. Born practices in the areas of healthcare and general corporate law with an emphasis on nonprofit corporate issues. She received her J.D. degree cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she was Research Editor of the ABA Real Property Probate and Trust Journal. Ms. Born is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, American Association of Nurse Attorneys, and the South Carolina Bar Health Law Committee.
