Mendoza Selected as SC Bar Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year

Nexsen Pruet Jacobs & Pollard, LLP is pleased to announce that Julio E. (Rick) Mendoza, Jr. has been selected as the South Carolina Bar's 1998 Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year. Rick Mendoza practices in the areas of creditors' rights and bankruptcy law in the Columbia office. He is a Certified Bankruptcy Specialist in the State of South Carolina and a member of the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Specialization Advisory Board. Additionally, Rick is past Chairman of the Bankruptcy Local Rules Advisory Committee for the District of South Carolina and member of the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina. He earned his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law where he currently serves as an adjunct professor.
