Andrew Colvin Joins Nexsen Pruet's Real Estate Group Hilton Head, SC September 7, 2006
HILTON HEAD, SC - Andrew E. Colvin has joined the Hilton Head office of Nexsen Pruet, and will work as an associate in the real estate practice group.
Colvin earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law and his International Masters of Business Administration from the Moore School of Business. He has also studied abroad and has experience in international finance.
“Andrew has a tremendous foundation that covers business – internationally and domestically – as well as the law,” said Leighton Lord, chairman of the board for Nexsen Pruet. “That’s going to bring a lot of diverse skills to the firm, and will benefit our clients.”
Colvin’s background includes work as an analyst in corporate finance with GBS Finanzas Investment Bankers, a strategic partner of Bear Stearns, in Madrid. While there, he helped structure merger and acquisition transactions valued at up to $500 million. Additionally, he taught and consulted at the USC Small Business Development Center.
He also studied at the ESADE Business School in Barcelona; the ITESM Business School in Guadalajara, Mexico; and the University of Groningen in The Netherlands. Colvin earned his undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston.
