Brian Pearce Joins Nexsen Pruet, Will Focus On Real Estate Litigation

Nexsen Pruet Adams Kleemeier, PLLC announced that Brian T. Pearce has joined the firm's Greensboro office, where he will concentrate his practice on real estate litigation.

Pearce was previously an associate with Stamey, Foust and Dwyer in Greensboro. While there, he performed residential real estate closings, drafted the full range of real estate documents, litigated civil matters including real estate matters, and drafted, reviewed, and negotiated commercial leases.

'œBrian brings a broad base of experience to our real estate practice,' said Jay DeVaney, real estate group leader in Nexsen Pruet's Greensboro office. 'œHe will be able to step in and provide immediate, across-the-board benefits to our clients.'

Pearce earned his undergraduate degree from Clemson University and his J.D. from the Wake Forest University School of Law, where he was the recipient of the Justice Joseph Branch Scholarship.

While in law school, he also worked with the Sara Lee Corporation's branded apparel division in Winston-Salem. His experience there included matters related to corporate contracts, antitrust issues, and expansion of manufacturing facilities. He also worked with the Forsyth County District Attorney's Office.

Pearce is member of the Greensboro Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, and the Greensboro Jaycees.
