Grant Burns Elected to SC Bar Leadership Post

GREENVILLE, SC - E. Grantland ("Grant") Burns has been elected to serve as a 13th Judicial Circuit Delegate in the South Carolina Bar House of Delegates. Burns is a Member in Nexsen Pruet's Greenville office and practices in the employment and labor group.

"Grant has just concluded serving a year as the Greenville County Bar President," said Al Pollard, Managing Partner of Nexsen Pruet. "His commitment to serving the local and State Bars has benefited our profession significantly."

The South Carolina Bar House of Delegates meets regularly and establishes policy for the Bar and its 11,000 members. Burns' term begins immediately.

Burns regularly represents clients in employment arbitration matters throughout the United States. He has been certified as a Circuit Court Mediator by the S.C. Board of Arbitrator and Mediator Certification.

Mr. Burns received his undergraduate degree from Clemson University, where he served as Student Body President, and his J.D. from the Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he was Student Bar Association President.
