John Davis To Serve as Director of Technology

Davis' IT and project management experience spans the legal, healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing fields, and includes work in state government as well.

Previously, Davis served as director of technology for Lexington-based Medical Services of America, where he was responsible for all IT-related functions. Prior to that, he was director of information technology for the law firm of Young, Clement, Rivers & Tisdale, LLP in Charleston.

He was also a systems administrator for Ronald Blue & Co., an investment and financial consultant firm located in Atlanta, and a division LAN representative and bureau network administrator with the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control.

Davis is a Cisco Certified Network Administrator, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, and Certified Novell Engineer. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Wofford College, Spartanburg, S.C., and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech.
