USC Law School Honors Vickie Eslinger With Compleat Lawyer Platinum Award

Columbia, S.C. - Victoria L. (Vickie) Eslinger, a Nexsen Pruet litigator who practices in the areas of labor and employment, international, and family law, has won the prestigious Compleat Lawyer Platinum Award from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Eslinger received the honor in recognition of her more than 30 years of practicing law. It is given to USC law graduates who have made "a significant contribution to the legal profession" and exemplify "the highest standard of professional competence, ethics, and integrity."

This is the third consecutive year that a Nexsen Pruet attorney has received the award.

"Vickie's career has been defined by an incredible level of legal skill, intelligence, and character," said Al Pollard, managing partner of Nexsen Pruet. "She has set truly the bar for excellence, serving her clients, her profession, and her community with equal passion."

Eslinger has been included in Best Lawyers in America in labor and employment law and family law. Additionally, she is a Certified Specialist in labor and employment law.

She earned her undergraduate and J.D. degrees from the University of South Carolina and has served as a member of the faculty of the Harvard University Law School Intensive Trial Advocacy Course for 20 years. Previously, she practiced law with O'Melveny & Myers in Paris, France, and is fluent in French, Spanish, and Italian.

Eslinger is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the American Bar Association, the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Law Institute. She is also a member of the Advisory Council of the Center for International Business Education and Research at USC, as well as USC's Women's Studies Partnership Council. Eslinger lives in Columbia and has served on the boards of numerous civic organizations.
