"Runoff Choices Clearer" The Sun News June 18, 2010

The June 18th, 2010 edition of Myrtle Beach's The Sun News features an endorsement of Nexsen Pruet attorney Leighton Lord in the upcoming GOP runoff in the race to be South Carolina Attorney General.
The article entitled "Runoff Choices Clearer" reads in part:
While Lord lacks experience in courtroom prosecution, that's a role the attorney general himself rarely takes - instead managing the team of criminal prosecutors.... Further, as Attorney General Henry McMaster's eight years have made clear, the decisions that have much wider-ranging consequences are those in civil cases, such as the state's water war with North Carolina, and Lord's role in the Boeing deal suggests strong experience at that level as well.
The SC GOP Attorney General runoff is Tuesday, June 22nd.
Leighton Lord led Nexsen Pruet's team on the Boeing project. He stepped down as board chairman in early 2010 to focus on his campaign for South Carolina Attorney General. |
