Republican 1st Congressional District Runoff Debate Scheduled in Myrtle Beach, SC Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce news release June 14, 2010

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Grand Strand Business Association, Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association will be co-hosting a Republican 1st Congressional District Runoff Debate with candidates Tim Scott & Paul Thurmond. Local media will act as facilitators on a question & answer panel and Franklin Daniels; Incoming Chairman of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce will moderate the debate.
Mike Wooten; President of the Grand Strand Business Association said, “We’re pleased the 2 candidates have agreed to participate and I look forward to a spirited debate that will help local voters better understand the differences between the two candidates.”
The debate will be held on Thursday, June 17th from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort & Spa @ Grand Dunes, 8400 Costa Verde Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC. This event is open to the public. Seating is limited.
