"Economic Development Competitiveness Act proposed in SC House"

The South Carolina Radio Network reported on the Economic Development Competitiveness Act on February 1st, 2010.

An economic development group, including Nexsen Pruet attorney Burnie Maybank, worked on recommendations for the legislation which House Speaker Bobby Harrell introduced at the Statehouse last week.

Maybank says the act "would restore the straight economic criteria for incentives provided for every county."
